October 15-19

This quote from one of my favorite childhood books has been running through my imagination all weekend. It's been a simply gorgeous weekend, and more lovely weather is on its way. I trust you had a chance to get out and enjoy the fall leaves. I had the distinct honor of playing hostess to my cousin's two young daughters. They insisted we drive about town in the Mini Cooper with the top down. How could I refuse? It was divine.

Here's what's coming up this week.

MATH-This week, we prepare for the end of unit test, which we will take on Thursday. The final lessons will give students a chance to apply their subtraction and addition skills to story problems.
