Students in Room 110 will be beginning an exciting storypath in Social Studies where they will create a community complete with characters and events that will allow them to explore the concepts of Democracy in Action. They will be participating in activities that allow them to experience how communities make decisions. As part of this exciting journey students will be creating characters for the storypath whose roles they will play throughout the unit. To that end, we could use any donations of the following items; ribbons, buttons, lace, wallpaper or fabric scraps, yarn or wool fiber for hair. If you have any of the above items lying about please consider sending them to schoool with your child. Students will share materials to make their characters.
