Pablo Picasso

Thank you to Mrs. C for preparing a wonderful lesson on Pablo Picasso as part of our Art Docent activity and thank you to Mrs. H for presenting that lesson to the class. Students learned about the life and influences of the artist as well as the various stages that define his life's work. For their own Picasso inspired pieces, student concentrated on the Cubism stage. They cut out five geometric shapes of varying size and color upon which they drew different sized eyes, an L-shaped nose, an unique mouth, and a C-shaped ear. They overlapped the pieces onto white paper to reflect a cubist type face. Very artistic.
