Weekly Homework Packets
With Young Authors Day rapidly approaching we're changing our weekly homework packet schedule for the next few weeks. Students should be spending the majority of their homework time working on their stories and finishing their books. Blank books went home with most students this afternoon. Finished or not, the books are due back on Monday the 26th. Students should type and paste the text of their stories into their books and then illustrate their pages. In addition to their Young Authors Day stories students are asked to read a minimum of 20 minutes a night and to study their spelling words. We'll resume our normal homework schedule after Young Authors Day. Math homework will be sent home as usual for second graders.
