3rd Grade Math

You'll find the link to tonight's homework (5-12) in the column to the right.  For you homework helpers. please be aware that students are working on identifying the information needed to solve a story problem in order to determine what if any vital information is missing.  IF they find the problem is indeed missing key information, students can supply that information on their own in order to help them solve the problem.  In other words, for problems that do indeed have missing information students will adding information of their choosing.  Because of that, students will have different answers for those problems.  Students should draw a math mountain to help them identify the vital information.  I hope this is only mildly confusing.  It was a tough lesson but they stuck with it.
